Israel disputes Hamas' claim that Israeli soldiers had been captured in Gaza.

During an operation in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, the military arm of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, reported on Sunday that they had captured an undetermined number of Israeli soldiers.

Although it hasn't been officially confirmed, a video clip that Hamas posted appeared to show someone being taken down a tunnel, allegedly an Israeli soldier.

Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee responded to the news by saying, "There is no incident of kidnapping a soldier in Gaza."
