Business News: Malawi Airlines Is Set To Launch New Routes To Three Nations.

According to Malawi Airlines, additional flights will be offered to Mozambique, Rwanda, and Uganda.

The new routes, according to the corporation, indicate the airline's expansion.

Only Taulo, the airline's marketing manager, informed journalists that the fares were reasonably priced.

"We will shortly begin providing services to Kigali, Rwanda. Additionally, we will establish connections with Nampula and Bemba in Mozambique, and by year's end, we hope to begin offering services in Uganda. We are not costly; we are reasonable," Taulo said.

Dr. Lameck Zetu Khonje, dean of Mzuzu University's faculty of tourism, hospitality, and management, commented on the development and told Nyasa Times that it was a positive step in the right path for tourism development.

"This is a really positive step forward. Given Rwanda's popularity as a travel destination in Africa, Malawi stands to gain greatly from direct aircraft service between Rwanda and Malawi. Our neighbor, Mozambique, is becoming a popular travel destination in Africa.

Thus, direct flights to Rwanda and Mozambique would make it easier for us to receive immigration from these two nations. That's a really good thing, as it links Malawi with the tourist destinations," Khonje said.
