Donald Trump Is Doing Well After Shooting, Leaves Hospital – RNC

Donald Trump is “doing well” and is grateful to law enforcement officers, according to a statement published on the Republican National Committee (RNC), external website

As we proceed with the convention to nominate him to be the 47th president of the United States, he shares his delight about travelling to Milwaukee to be with the rest of us. In a statement, the RNC and the Trump campaign said, "As our party's nominee, [he] will continue to share his vision to Make America Great Again."

Earlier, Trump posted a statement on Truth Social, a platform he founded.

He thanked law enforcement officers and the Secret Service for their “rapid response”.

“Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured. That an act of this kind can occur in our nation is astounding," he remarked.
